The police in Dortmund raided Youssoufa Moukoko’s home last week, German media write. Borussia Dortmund does not want to respond to the reports about the sixteen-year-old top talent for the time being and is entering into a conversation with the attacker. Police spokesman Oliver Peiler confirms BILD that the police have been turned out because an ex-girlfriend was locked up in the house and could not go outside.

Ruhr Nachrichten writes that Moukoko and his ex-girlfriend had had a fight. The attacker wanted to continue the conversation at a later date because he had to leave. That would have been the reason he locked up the woman. The lady in question was left alone in the house, could not go outside and called the police. The ex-girlfriend was eventually freed and decided not to press charges against Moukoko, who could face further investigation from the police anyway. The case is taken high.

The ages of the protagonists are extensively discussed by the media. Moukoko and his ex-girlfriend, for example, got into a relationship when the attacker was still 14 years old and the lady in question was 21 years old. In Germany the legal age of sexual consent is nevertheless 14 years, as long as the other partner is not older than 21 years. In any case, there has been doubt for years about the age of Moukoko, who at the age of twelve already played in the Under-17 of Borussia Dortmund and achieved unimaginable goal averages.

Born on November 20, 2004, Moukoko made his debut in the first of Borussia Dortmund one day after his sixteenth birthday: he made his appearance as a substitute in the 2-5 victory over Hertha BSC. Since then, Moukoko’s counter has stood at fourteen Bundesliga duels and three hits, while he was on the field for more than 45 minutes in just two appearances. Moukoko has since become the youngest player (16 years, 1 day) and the youngest goalscorer (16 years, 28 days) in the Bundesliga and, at 16 years and 18 days, he also became the youngest footballer ever in the Champions League.
