The line-up of Poland for the game against the Dutch national team is known. Prior to the game, a big question mark was behind the name of Robert Lewandowski, but the striker appears to be fit enough to take action. With Mateusz Klich, one former Eredivisie player is in the starting eleven of national coach Jerzy Brzeczek. The game between Poland and the the Dutch starts at 8.45 PM in Chorzów.

Lewandowski was in doubt with the number eighteen of the FIFA world rankings due to a buttock injury. The big star of Poland trained on Tuesday evening and his national coach expressed the hope that Lewandowski would be able to participate on Wednesday evening. Brzeczek also had to put out a fire in recent days, after Lewandowski criticized Poland’s tactics in Sunday’s lost Nations League game against Italy (2-0).

Lewandowski said things were “not quite right tactically”; his statements were seen as criticism of the national coach. The relationship between the goalgetter of Bayern Munich and Brzeczek would be far from optimal, but the choice lord has put Lewandowski in his starting line-up. He also chooses to put Lukasz Fabianski under the bar, after Wojciech Szczesny was preferred in the last two matches.

In total there are five players on the field who had no starting place against Italy: goalkeeper Fabianski (West Ham United), defender Tomasz Kedziora (Dynamo Kiev) and midfielders Przemyslaw Placheta (Norwich City), Piotr Zielinski (Napoli) and Klich (Leeds United) ). Poland can still end up as a group winner, but then it must win against the Netherlands itself and Italy must simultaneously lose to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Line-up Poland: Fabianski; Kedziora, Glik, Bednarek, Reca; Krychowiak, Klich; Placheta, Zielinski, Yozwiak; Lewandowski.
