Excelsior took the lead in the Kitchen Champion Division on Saturday. Marinus Dijkhuizen’s team was again taken by the hand against FC Emmen by Thijs Dallinga, who scored the only goal of the match: 0-1. The center striker, who broke through in professional football at Emmen, is the top scorer of the competition with ten goals in ten matches. Emmen remains in fourth place.

A few minutes after the break, Rui Mendes made a dangerous breakthrough on the right side of the penalty area. The shot by the attacker of Emmen was beautifully tapped from the corner by Van Gassel. The Drents then often had the ball, but had trouble creating real opportunities. Toufiqui tried from inside the penalty area ten minutes before time, but shot almost straight through the middle.
