Peter Bosz is moderately satisfied with PSV's performance. Although the Eindhoven team was eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday evening, the trainer also saw positive points with his team. The coach saw a dominant PSV, especially in the second half.

The eighth final was PSV's final destination. When visiting Borussia Dortmund, coach Peter Bosz's team lost 2-0 after the earlier 1-1 draw in Eindhoven. In the third minute of play, Jadon Sancho scored the opening goal, after which Marco Reus made the decision deep in injury time.

“We didn't do well in the first thirty minutes,” Bosz concluded in front of the camera afterwards RTL 7. “We couldn't get the pressure on and we were restless in possession of the ball. After that we moved on quite quickly and started playing one-on-one, which gave us more control.”

“We played a good second half and we dominated. We often got into the box at Dortmund, but especially in the final phase of the attack we did not make the right decision.”

“Often the final pass was not good enough, although we had a bit of bad luck every now and then. Lozano hit the post and Luuk de Jong shot over at the end after a great attack,” said Bosz. “We had a number of opportunities, but we failed to score.”

Next Friday, Borussia Dortmund will be told from 12 noon who the opponent will be in the quarter-final of the billion dollar ball.

After the defeat, PSV can fully focus on the Eredivisie. After 25 rounds, the lead is still 10 points over closest pursuer Feyenoord.
