Lazio has the Derby della Capitale against AS Roma. In the Stadio Olimpico, the team of coach Maurizio Sarri defeated Jose Mourinho’s team 3-2. It was a special duel for Pedro, who wore the Roma uniform last season and was now accurate on behalf of Lazio.

Pedro was given a basic place on Sunday by Sarri. The game with Roma was a spicy poster for the attacker. The Spaniard was under contract with last season i Giallorossi and made the sensitive switch to Lazio this summer. The home team got off to a strong start: Felipe Anderson found the profound Sergej Milinkovic-Savic after ten minutes with a custom pass, who then hit the target: 1-0. With his goal, he was punched hard in the face by Roma keeper Rui Patricio. The goalkeeper was penalized for this with a yellow card, Milinkovic-Savic was allowed to continue after treatment.

Ten minutes later it was Pedro who managed to double the margin for the home team. Lazio came out quickly on the counter. Ciro Immobile gave the ball wide to the attacking attacker, who then shot the ball low into the long corner. After Arne Selmonsson and Aleksandar Kolarov, Pedro is the third player to score for both AS Roma and Lazio in the Roman derby. Roma woke up after the second goal of the home team and first created opportunities via Jordan Veretout and Nicolo Zanolio. Five minutes before half time, the connecting goal was actually a fact. A corner from Veretout was neatly headed into the right corner by Ibañez: 2-1.

The second half was fifteen minutes on the road when Immobile was sent into the depths. The Italian striker kept the overview and served the incoming Felipe Anderson, who brought the margin to two: 3-1. The answer from Roma was not long in coming. Minutes after Lazio’s goal, the ball hit the dot on the other side of the pitch. Substitute Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro fouled Nicolò Zaniolo, after which Jordan Veretout made no mistake from eleven meters: 3-2.

In the final phase of the game, Jose Mourinho’s team started in the hope of forcing the equalizer. The Lazio defense was pushed back and Pepe Reina’s target came under fire. The biggest chance, however, was for Lazio, who failed through Immobile to further extend the score and lock the game. So it remained exciting until the last minute, but it remained at 3-2.
