Oussama Idrissi is determined to fight for his place at Sevilla. According to El Desmarque Club Brugge has made an offer to the left wing attacker, who has, however, declined for the interest. According to reports, a Dutch club has also caught up with Idrissi, although it is unclear which team it is. The Moroccan international does not want to leave the Andalusian club, with which he would like to play Champions League football.

According to reports, Idrissi is determined to win over trainer Julen Lopetegui. Although the competition in the left wing position is fierce, he wants to prove himself before the close of the transfer window. Idrissi will compete with Lucas Ocampos, Suso and Erik Lamela, who came over from Tottenham Hotspur. However, if it turns out by the end of August that there is little playing time ahead, Idrissi would still be open to a (temporary) departure, it sounds like. At an earlier stage knew Estadio Deportivo to report that Sevilla has attached a price tag of eight million euros to the seven-time international.

In preparation for next season, Idrissi has played in three of the four friendlies so far. Although he could not count on a starting spot in any of the exhibition games, the winger left a good impression. Against Coventry City (4-0) Idrissi came in the second half and managed to score within five minutes. The attacker also got 45 minutes of play against Las Palmas (1-0), while he had to settle for fifteen minutes against Paris Saint-Germain.

The news is striking, as the 25-year-old wing striker was told by trainer Julen Lopetegui at the beginning of July that he had no future in the first team. At the time reported Estadio Deportivo that Sevilla will recoup part of the large purchase amount that was paid to AZ last year this summer. Idrissi came to Sevilla for twelve million euros last year, but was unable to convince for a moment in Andalusia. The attacker played only 24 minutes in LaLiga and was loaned to Ajax in January. Behind captain Dusan Tadic, Idrissi was mainly on the bench and in the substitutions he received he did not make too strong an impression.
