Another setback for Real Madrid in the run-up to the game with Getafe on Sunday evening. The Royal reports Sunday that Federico Valverde has been in contact with someone with the corona virus and has therefore been in mandatory self-isolation since Saturday. Valverde was not infected himself, but nevertheless the 22-year-old midfielder from Uruguay is not available for trainer Zinedine Zidane in the game that is so important to Real in the battle for the Spanish national title.
Real does not mention a replacement for Valverde in the match selection of Real for the away match against Getafe. Zidane sees another player with the midfielder drop out, so that he only has three goalkeepers and twelve field players at his disposal for Sunday evening’s encounter. The French coach in Spanish service has the necessary problems, especially in defense, as Raphaël Varane, Sergio Ramos, Ferland Mendy, Nacho Fernández, Daniel Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez, transformed into right back, are missing against Getafe for various reasons.

Mendy is not available for ten to fifteen days due to a muscle injury and the left back is very likely to miss the next three league games and possibly also the first semi-final game with Chelsea in the Champions League on April 27.
Nacho Fernández received his fifth yellow card in the top match against Barcelona (2-1 victory) and the center-back is therefore suspended for Sunday’s match against Getafe, just like Casemiro. The midfielder received a red card against Barcelona in the final minute of the squatter and therefore has to serve a suspension. Real starts as number two in LaLiga to the meeting with number ten fifteen Getafe. With eight rounds to go, the gap to leader Atlético Madrid is one point (67 to 66 points). Barcelona, with 65 points from 30 matches, closely follows the competitors from Madrid.
