Napoli can call themselves the leader of the Serie A after four rounds. The team of Luciano Spalletti did not benefit from Udinese on Monday evening. which, just like the opponent, was still undefeated prior to the competition game. Victor Osimhen, Amir Rrahmani, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hirving Lozano scored the goals: 4-0. Napoli is clear in Serie A with twelve points from four matches, while Udinese occupies eighth place in the ranking.

Spalletti had again cleared a starting spot for Osimhen in his starting eleven. The Nigerian attacker was still waiting for his first goal in the new Serie A season, but gave the Neapolitans a point last week in the Europa League game against Leicester City by personally clearing a 2-0 deficit with two nice hits. Lorenzo Insigne handed out the first pinprick against Udinese after fifteen minutes. However, the winger saw his shot well turned by Marco Silvestri. Ten minutes later it was still hit for Napoli. Insigne decided not to shoot at goal, but to put it wide on Ruiz, who then found Koulibaly. The defender in turn put the ball wide on Rrahmani, after which it was a breeze for his partner in the defense to slide the ball in from close range: 0-2.

The second half was only a few minutes away when Napoli secured the final victory. The goal again resembled a sent-in standard situation. Ruiz was found near the far post after a short corner kick and then put the ball back to Koulibaly. The defender knew no doubt and shot the ball impeccably into the long corner from about fifteen meters: 0-3. Substitute Lozano completed the Neapolitan celebration in the final phase by finishing in the long corner from within the sixteen-meter area: 0-4. With the big win, Napoli takes the lead from AC Milan and Inter, while Udinese remains stuck in eighth place in the ranking.
