NAC Breda finally managed to win again in the Kitchen Champion Division on Monday evening. The 2-3 win over Jong AZ was only the second victory in 2024. Jong Ajax also lost 0-3 to Telstar. Youssef El Kachati was responsible for the final score with a great long shot.

Young Ajax – Telstar 0-3

The Amsterdam promises started the competition match with Telstar with a fairly strong starting eleven. Ar'Jany Martha, Kian Fitz-Jim, Jaydon Banel, Julian Rijkhoff and Amourricho van Axel-Dongen could all count on a starting place. Telstar, however, took the lead with just under fifteen minutes, after the ball hit the spot due to a foul on Danzell Gravenberch. The striker got behind the ball himself and did not fail: 0-1.

Tim van de Loo doubled the margin halfway through the first half. Ajax could not clear the ball from its own goal, after which the midfielder gave the final push. In the second act things would get even worse for Jong Ajax. With an equally clever and beautiful blast from a huge distance, El Kachati set the final score at 0-3.

Young AZ – NAC Breda 2-3

NAC Breda did excellent business on Monday evening in the battle for a play-off spot in the Kitchen Champion Division. The game was not always great, but the people of Breda dealt with AZ's promises. In the first half, club top scorer Dominik Janosek was allowed to score from eleven meters after a violation in the penalty area: 0-1.

Early in the second act, the Alkmaarders came alongside through Denso Kasius, who shot on goal from a free kick, surprising NAC goalkeeper Roy Kortsmit: 1-1. About ten minutes later, the visitors restored the lead through Aimé Omgba (1-2), before Jan Van den Bergh scored the 1-3 again ten minutes later from a free kick from Janosek. Just before time it became exciting. After a nice deep pass, Ernest Poku was able to put the 2-3 on the scoreboard in the one-on-one. However, NAC's victory was no longer in danger.

The Eindhoven promises came with a very strong defense by Kitchen Champion Division standards. Shurandy Sambo, Armel Bella-Kotchap and CJ Egan-Riley all had a starting spot. The defenders had a relatively easy evening. Jong PSV had the best chance of the match for a long time, but Jesper Uneken saw his attempt saved by Luca Plogmann.

In the final phase it was mainly the away team that was looking for a goal and Dordrecht would eventually find one. In the 81st minute things went wrong in the build-up at Jong PSV, with Egan-Riley handing the ball in with a bad pass. One through ball from Korede Osundina later, Shiloh 't Zand came face to face with Niek Schiks: 0-1. This also marked the final score on the scoreboard.

Jong FC Utrecht – TOP Oss 0-3

TOP Oss had a huge opportunity to open the score halfway through the first half. However, Arthur Allemeersch could not get the ball between the posts from five meters. The spell was broken by the visitors after the break. After an error in the back of Jong FC Utrecht's defense, Konstantinos Doumtsios was able to pick up the ball. From outside the sixteen he nicely found the far corner: 0-1. Abel Stensrud was responsible for the 0-2 after an hour of play by brilliantly finding the intersection. In the final minutes, the Norwegian striker set the final score at 0-3.
