NAC Breda booked a simple victory in the Kitchen Champion Division on Monday evening. In the Rat Verlegh Stadium, the team was far too strong for TOP Oss, which was beaten 3-0. It was already the fifth league victory in a row for Maurice Steijn’s team, which is therefore more firmly in fourth place in the rankings. NAC will secretly dream of second place again, which immediately entitles you to promotion. The gap to De Graafschap is four points. TOP has to take enough with a fourteenth place for the time being.

NAC was left on roses early in the game, as the opening goal was found before the end of the fifth playing minute. A free kick from Mounir El Allouchi ended up on the head of Mario Bilate, who did not hit the ball well. However, the leather lingered in the danger zone, so Lex Immers put back to Dion Malone, who nodded the 1-0 against the ropes. On the stroke of half time it became even better for the home team, when the margin was doubled. El Allouchi kicked a corner towards Lex Immers, who towered high above his direct opponents and headed in nicely: 2-0.

Although the visitors in the first act could reasonably play along with the opponent, the carelessness in the back of the Oxen became fatal. After the break, TOP tried to force a breakthrough, but the club did not get much further than a header from Mart Remans, which was dived out of the corner by goalkeeper Nick Olij. Ultimately, the final chord was played by NAC, which found a third hit. Substitute NIck Venema made excellent use of the space he was given and, on a pass from El Allouchi, finished skillfully: 3-0.
