Mohamed Ihattaren is about to leave PSV for a French adventure, Martijn Krabbendam reported on Tuesday evening. The journalist of Football International writes that the midfielder is working with Mino Raiola to finalize the final details with the ‘interested clubs’. AS Monaco would be on pole position to tie Ihattaren, it sounds like.

Krabbendam announces that Monaco may be the new employer of Ihattaren. It is not yet certain whether the nineteen-year-old midfielder will actually sign a contract with the Monegasques. The journalist reports that ‘insiders in France’ do not yet rule out a transition to OGC Nice. There would also be clubs from Italy that are still on the ropes.

The fact that Monaco is now called is striking, as the creative was spotted with his agent at the sports complex of Nice last week. At the end of July, Rik Elfrink reported that Nice has not yet made an offer for the attacking midfielder. The alleged interest from Italy also causes a surprising turn in the soap around Ihattaren. It is not yet known which Italian team it is.

PSV informed Mohamed Ihattaren on Saturday that he is no longer part of the team training of the first team. He has been following an individual program at the training complex since Monday with guidance from PSV. The reason for the conversation was, among other things, that Ihattaren has not fulfilled a number of agreements with the club in recent times. The management addressed him about this on Thursday afternoon, as has happened in the past. For example, he missed the home match against Ajax last season, after a collision with trainer Roger Schmidt. The coach was not satisfied with Ihattaren’s attitude.
