Stanley Menzo has included six new internationals in the pre-selection of the national team of Suriname for the friendly match against Thailand in March. Joey Roggeveen (Jong Ajax), Calvin Mac-Intosch (SC Cambuur), Djavan Anderson (PEC Zwolle), Yanic Wildschut (CSKA Sofia), Leandro Kappel (Altay) and Jeredy Hilterman (NAC Breda) will join the team for the first time. Menzo made his debut as national coach of Suriname in January. For the international period in which Barbados (1-0) and Guyana (2-1) were beaten, not all internationals playing in Europe were part of the selection. Ryan Donk, Warner Hahn, Myenty Abena, Dion Malone, Ryan Koolwijk and Florian Jozefzoon did come into action during the first practice matches under Menzo’s reign.

Now also Damil Dankerlui (FC Groningen), Kelvin Leerdam (LA Galaxy), Ridgeciano Haps (Venezia), Tjaronn Chery (Maccabi Haifa), Roland Alberg (MVV Maastricht), Diego Biseswar (PAOK Saloniki), Sheraldo Becker (Union Berlin) and Mitchell Te Vrede (Abha Club) again. Suriname is finishing the friendly against Thailand in preparation for the start of the group stage of the CONCACAF Nations League, of which the first matches will be played in June.
