National coach Stanley Menzo has announced the final selection of Suriname for the friendly match against Thailand in March. Joey Roggeveen (Jong Ajax), Calvin Mac-Intosch (SC Cambuur), Yanic Wildschut (CSKA Sofia), Leandro Kappel (Altay) and Jeredy Hilterman (NAC Breda) will join the team for the first time. The national coach included six new internationals in the pre-selection of the national team. Only Djavan Anderson, who is rented from Lazio by PEC Zwolle, is not part of the final selection of the newcomers. Menzo made his debut as national coach of Suriname in January. For the international period in which Barbados (1-0) and Guyana (2-1) were beaten, not all internationals playing in Europe were part of the selection.
