The police in Eindhoven made ten arrests on Thursday evening around PSV’s Europa League match against Sturm Graz (2-0), the report said. General Newspaper. PSV says in a response that it did not concern PSV supporters.

The PSV team bus was met with fireworks and torches on arrival at the Philips Stadium, prior to the European match. “That was organized and went well,” says the PSV spokeswoman. “When the fireworks lasted too long, the group that had organized the action left. A group that remained attempted to enter the stadium. We managed to avoid that. We do not know the people who did that, they are not PSV supporters.”

It is not the first time that there is unrest around the stadiums. Last weekend things also went wrong in several places. At Heracles Almelo, SC Cambuur and AZ, supporters managed to gain access to the stadium. In Alkmaar the supporters even managed to enter the field. AZ has meanwhile announced tough measures and will start a criminal investigation to determine the identity of the perpetrators.
