Leandro Kappel expects a spectacular Ajax victory over Besiktas on Tuesday. The attacker of Turkish PhD student Altay was good for a goal and an assist against the reigning champions on Friday evening, who suffered a 2-1 defeat. Kappel sees Ajax win with even greater numbers and even draws a comparison with the 9-0 victory of the team from Amsterdam against SC Cambuur nine days ago.

Kappel knows what it’s like to beat Besiktas, and gives them ‘no chance’ for the Champions League match with Ajax on Tuesday evening. “You really can’t arrive in Amsterdam with the team they played with on Friday”, Kappel tells opposite ESPN. “Of course Besiktas is a big name in Turkey. But once the match was on you saw that she wasn’t at all all that The attacker, who played in Ajax’s youth for four years, sees Erik ten Hag’s team as the outspoken favorite. “I give Ajax every opportunity and Besiktas zero percent chance. any chance.”

Ajax has been in top form in recent weeks, Kappel expects the Dutch champion to impress again in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. “Who did they last win 9-0 against? cambuur? Yes, I think it will be a match like that. You cannot arrive in Amsterdam with this team where they played against us. I think they’re going to collapse and start spying on the counter. Maybe it will be difficult for Ajax to go through with that. Once they score the first goal, it becomes a monster score.”

The Amsterdammer believes that Besiktas will have a hard time in the Johan Cruijff ArenA, mainly because of the full sick bay. “It is not a weak team. But they miss a lot of those starting eleven. They are missing 13 players. If you have that many injured, well… And the newcomers won’t be fit too.” According to the attacker, Kara Kartallar enough weak spots that Ajax can take advantage of. “I find their defense quite slow, the two central defenders (Serdar Saatci and Atiba Hutchinson, ed.). There they can become dangerous with fast men. I didn’t find anything special either. That will just be three easy points for Ajax.”
