Javier Tebas does not have a good word for the behavior of Paris Saint-Germain in the contract extension of Kylian Mbappe. The president of LaLiga speaks on Twitter of the amount with which the star attacker was persuaded to stay in Paris, given PSG’s millions of losses in recent years. Tebas is crazy about the contract offer from Paris, which, according to him, should not have been done at all. “What PSG are going to do by extending Mbappe’s contract with huge amounts of money (which we know from where and how PSG is paying him), after losing €700m in recent years and paying €600m in wages, is an INSULT to football, the driver wrote on Twitter on Saturday: “Al-Khelaïfi is as dangerous as the Super League.”
The LaLiga president’s anger is also apparent from the official statement of the top Spanish football body that came out on Saturday.
