Vitesse also lost the third practice match during the preparation for the new season. After defeats against AEK Athens (1-3) and Lokomotiva Zagreb (1-3), FC Nordsjaelland also proved too strong on Tuesday afternoon. The number five of last season in Denmark won a match of three forty minutes in Delden with 0-5. The much-discussed Ajax target Kamaldeen Sulemana scored the third goal for Nordsjaelland.

Nordsjaelland took the lead in the third minute, because Simon Adingra took advantage of Jacob Rasmussen’s sloppy loss of possession. Ibrahim Sadiq made it 0-2 shortly after the start of the second block. Sulemana, Nordsjaelland’s playmaker, struck in the final phase of the second block. He received the ball just in front of the goal, passed goalkeeper Jeroen Houwen and finished. The effective Nordsjaelland increased the margin in the opening phase of the last block: Oliver Antman made it 0-4 in the rebound after a shot against the post and Emeka Nnamani made it 0-5.

It remains to be seen whether Ajax will succeed in capturing Sulemana for the time being. The nineteen-year-old attacker was recently spotted in the stadium of the interested Stade Rennes, said journalist Mike Verweij of The Telegraph Saturday. Sulemana was still in Amsterdam on Wednesday 23 June for the medical examination, but it did not come to that. “He suddenly asked for a two-day delay,” Verweij knows. “Suddenly he was back to Denmark and now he shows up in Rennes.” According to Verweij, Ajax has an agreement with Nordsjaelland about a transfer fee of fifteen million euros to be paid.
