The arrival of Álvaro Morata to Barcelona has definitely been canceled, reports the usually very well-introduced Gianluca Di Marzio. The transfer specialist reports that Juventus has not been able to find a replacement for the 29-year-old striker. Barcelona will therefore have to look for a new attack leader.
Massimiliano Allegri would only let Morata leave if there was a high-quality replacement in return. Juventus inquired at Paris Saint-Germain about Mauro Icardi, but the arrival of the 28-year-old Argentinian turned out to be unrealistic.
