Álvaro Morata returns to Juventus for good, according to Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio, among others. La Vecchia Signora has fully agreed with Atlético Madrid over a rental period of at least one year. Morata replaces Barcelona attacker Luis Suárez, who has chosen Atlético Madrid at the last minute.

Juventus initially rents Morata for an amount of ten million euros. After the first year, the Italians have the option of permanently recruiting the 27-year-old Spaniard for 45 million euros. Juventus can also choose to rent Morata for an extra year for an additional ten million euros. At the end of that second season, the purchase option then amounts to 35 million euros. According to Romano, 33-year-old Suárez has agreed with Atlético Madrid, where he will be presented in the very short term.

It is unclear what the consequences of the transfer of Morata are for Edin Dzeko. Despite a personal agreement with the 34-year-old AS Roma striker, his transfer to Juventus has still not been completed. Roma only wants to let Dzeko leave if Arek Milik can be taken over from Napoli. According to Romano, there is now an agreement between Roma and Napoli on a transfer fee of 25 million euros, and only Milik still has to agree to a transfer to the capital of Italy.
