Justin Kluivert is close to moving to OGC Nice, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 22-year-old wing striker has been persuaded by Christophe Galtier, the new coach of the French club, to play in Ligue 1. Kluivert may leave AS Roma, which will soon reach an agreement with Nice. “The deal is in its final stages,” said Romano. Kluivert will be a teammate of Calvin Stengs, who completed his transfer from AZ to Nice on Wednesday.

A week ago, Kluivert received a signal from Jose Mourinho that he could leave Roma. The former Ajax player was not included by the Portuguese trainer in the 27-man selection of AS Roma for the preparation for the new season. The 22-year-old attacker was loaned to RB Leipzig last season, but the German club decided not to include the option to buy in the lease.
