Joshua Brenet is receiving concrete interest from Dinamo Moscow and Istanbul Basaksehir, it reports General Daily NewspaperThe defender can be picked up on a free transfer.

The now thirty-year-old Brenet arrived at FC Twente in January 2022 and quickly emerged as a strong player there. The two-time international of Curaçao attracted interest from Feyenoord with his good play at De Grolsch Veste, but a transfer did not materialize.

Brenet was also a regular player at Twente last season, until his contract was torn up by the Tukkers at the end of March. The reason was driving without a license, which the right back had previously been guilty of, and the associated sentence of a month in prison.

Brenet appealed against that punishment, but Twente had had enough and so his contract was torn up. Brenet has been without a club since then, although he did make his debut for Curaçao in the World Cup qualifier against Barbados in early June (4-1 win).

Brenet aims according to the AD for a long time on a foreign adventure and that seems to happen this summer. Both Dinamo Moscow and Istanbul Basaksehir show concrete interest in Brenet.

Brenet is also attracting interest from Greece, where several unnamed clubs have the defender from Kerkrade on their radar.

Brenet made his breakthrough at PSV in 2013, the club he left five years later for TSG Hoffenheim. After playing for Vitesse on loan for six months, Brenet moved to Twente in January 2022, where he played 74 matches. He scored fourteen goals and provided nine assists.
