Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp have expressed themselves very critically about Louis van Gaal’s speech at the goodbye training of the the Dutch Lionesses. The former national coach of the Dutch was present at the KNVB complex on Saturday afternoon and mocked the the Dutch. Van Gaal’s performance is particularly bad for Derksen, he indicates during The the Dutch Summer.
“This is not chic”, is Van der Gijp’s first reaction to Van Gaal’s visit to the Leeuwinnen. “It’s so easy, because everyone thinks this. You go to those girls, or Lionesses, and then I think he should stick with that. He wishes them all the success in the world and that’s it.”

Van Gaal came to training to encourage the team of national coach Sarina Wiegman in the run-up to the Olympic Games, and took the opportunity to give the the Dutch a sneer. “Now look at the Men’s European Championship. Then you see that a glorified bunch of stars can’t do it. And I have always seen under Sarina Wiegman that there was a team where people go through fire for each other”, he referred to the national coach of the the Dutch Lionesses. “So make sure that you go to the Olympic Games as a team with your coach. to get gold there. Good luck,” said Van Gaal.
“I have seen so many terrible images of that guy in recent days,” says Derksen when he sees Van Gaal’s performance. “We should not do this to the Netherlands: what a self-righteous jellyfish of a guy. Now he is invited there again as a kind of guru to address those ladies and then he immediately seizes his chance to give the Dutch national team a sneer. Unfortunately, it is so poor that we don’t have more leaders than those two,” the analyst refers to Van Gaal and Henk ten Cate, who, by the way, is not available for possible national coaching.
“Look, if Dick Advocaat takes Giovanni van Bronckhorst along as an assistant, I think that’s quite an acceptable duo. That director (Nico-Jan Hoogma, ed.) shouted very boldly: ‘We are now going for a leader.’ But the leader they’re looking for isn’t there at all. The only leader there is is that ‘humpie dump’ there,” says Derksen, pointing to a photo of Van Gaal. “That man has so many negative sides, so they won’t take it. And I wouldn’t take it either. I am committed to the fate of Dutch football, and that is now at the mercy of a psychopath,” said the analyst.
Van Gaal is emphatically put forward to succeed the departed Frank de Boer as elector of the Dutch. He also presented the FIFA awards for the best female coach and the best player of 2020 on Saturday, which had already been announced in December, to Wiegman and Miedema respectively. “The best coach in the world: I’ve never even achieved that,” Van Gaal joked to Wiegman. The the Dutch Lionesses are preparing for their participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Wiegman’s selection is divided into Zambia, China and Brazil in the group stage.
