Latest update:

Johan Bakayoko enjoys the game of Feyenoord acquisition Anis Hadj-Moussa, as the PSV attacker appears to be a guest in the Cor Potcast. Where the 21-year-old wing flasher previously reported via Instagram under a compilation video of Hadj-Moussa, Bakayoko now also mentions the Vitesse mercenary in the extremely popular podcast of FC Rehab.

Next Sunday PSV will play Sparta at home. After the home game, the Eindhoven team can call themselves national champions again after six years. In the week preceding the championship match, Bakayoko is a guest in the podcast of Bart Vriends, defender of the Lords of the castle. Bakayoko, Vriends, Thomas Verhaar and Maarten de Fockert talk about their favorite passing movements, among other things.

The gentlemen agree that the akka panna is one of the most beautiful passing movements, but Vriends can also enjoy another action. “I also like that really good false staircase. Pretend to shoot, stop and move on. I think that's really great.” De Fockert mentions a false kick by Abdelhak Nouri in the Youth League as an example. “Then the player completely turns around,” Vriends also remembers.

Bakayoko thinks a false kick in motion is even more beautiful. “What's that Vitesse player's name again? Anis Moussa! How he did that fake shot does, pfff… He really gives it very cleanly. Everyone just falls for it! I think that's really nice.”

It is not the first time that Bakayoko has shown that he is a fan of Hadj-Moussa. Last month, the Belgian international responded under a video of ESPN on Instagram. Among the compilation, Bakayoko only needed one word to describe Hajj-Moussa's highlights: “Wow…”

In the comments, many football fans wondered whether the PSV right winger was paying a compliment or being sarcastic, but with his new statements Bakayoko dispels that view. Just like Bakayoko, Hadj-Moussa was regularly criticized for his performance at the start of his career. The latter has dealt with that considerably this season.

Yet Bakayoko still thinks it is important that football is also entertainment. “For me that is perhaps even the most important thing in football. The reason I started playing football is to have fun. That's my reason. In the meantime, I know that I also have to have a return, because that is what people look at. If you have nice actions, but no goals or assists, you will have a dramatic season. In some ways that is a shame.”
