Johan Bakayoko has the opportunity to continue his career in Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilal is making serious attempts to pluck the winger from PSV, but will not succeed, the Eindhoven Daily Newspaper.

Bakayoko is not planning to move to the Middle East. The PSV striker wants to go to the absolute top, a club from a European top competition. An extra year in Eindhoven is also a possibility.

“Bakayoko could more or less decide his own salary and collect an amount with many zeros, but according to sources close to him, he does not find that interesting at all,” Rik Elfrink outlines Al-Hilal's interest.

PSV could also have collected a considerable amount with a transfer of Bakayoko. The Belgian is considered the player who can bring in the most money this summer. It is not known what sum PSV is aiming for.

Bakayoko is young, has had a good season and still has a contract until mid-2026, which means that interested clubs will have to dig deep into their pockets.

“If I were to leave Eindhoven, it would only be to a club that, like PSV, plays for prizes,” Bakayoko said on Wednesday in the Eindhoven Daily Newspaper. “Becoming champion is what I want. And winning the Champions League. I have the qualities for that.”

“But PSV is also a top club, especially if many players from last season stay. And it's fun here. Yes, really. Fun. I don't think I've ever given the impression that I'm playing here with reluctance.”
