FC Eindhoven has settled in the sub-top of the Kitchen Champion Division on Saturday. In a match against TOP Oss, the efficient team of Rob Penders won the match: 2-1. FC Eindhoven climbs to seventh place, while TOP remains in fifteenth place.
After just seven minutes, FC Eindhoven took the lead. A free kick seemed to be headed away by Niels Fleuren, but Maarten Peijnenburg was able to put the ball in again, after which Jort van der Sande tapped in: 1-0. The striker should have scored again at the end of the first half when a rebound fell at his feet, but then shot over.
TOP Oss didn’t create many chances, but managed to equalize after the break. While sliding Trevor David got the ball to Justin Mathieu, who hit from inside the penalty area: 1-1. Against the odds, FC Eindhoven managed to produce a winning goal. Joey Sleegers saw an attempt at a combination with Van de Sande fail, but got the ball out of whack and shot from about ten meters: 2-1.
