b>Jochem Kamphuis will make his debut in the preliminary round of the Champions League next Tuesday. The KNVB announces that the 35-year-old referee is in charge of the game between CFR 1907 Cluj and FK Borac Banja Luka, which will be kicked off in Romania at 8 p.m. At the same time, Allard Lindhout will make his debut in a European club tournament on Thursday, as he has been appointed manager for FC Shkupi 1927 – Llapi in the Conference League.

Kamphuis made his debut in a European club tournament a year ago, when he whistled in the second heat of the Europa League KF Laçi – Hapoel Beër Sheva. Now he will be in charge of a Champions League qualifier for the first time. Kamphuis will receive assistance from Mario Diks and Rogier Honig during the meeting between the champions of Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Joey Kooij will act as the fourth official.

Lindhout is also active on the European stage this week. The 33-year-old arbiter – who has previously refereed youth international matches on the international stage – will be in charge in North Macedonia of the match between FC Shkupi 1927 and Llapi, the number two of North Macedonia and the number five of Kosovo in the first qualifying round of the Conference League. Lindhout is assisted by Charles Schaap and Rens Bluemink. Rob Dieperink will travel to North Macedonia as the fourth official.
