Arno Vermeulen is critical of the interview Dusan Tadic gave to the NOS. It was recorded from the captain’s mouth that the stories about Overmars’ transgressive behavior did not interest him. Tadic also said that Overmars is now doing better and that he has had a ‘hard time’. Vermeulen thinks it is unjust that the former technical director is portrayed by Tadic as a victim.

According to Vermeulen, Tadic should have realized that he should have made a better statement about the women who experienced Overmars’ transgressive behavior at Ajax. “They simply gave up their jobs at Ajax, because they could no longer stand the situation at Ajax, left there and saw their very dream of working at that club shattered,” said the football manager of the club. Moreover, it was in his own language, otherwise you can often say that someone has difficulty expressing himself well because he speaks in a foreign language, but the interview with the NOS was held in his own language.”
After Ajax’s won Eredivisie match with RKC Waalwijk (3-2) Tadic announced that he was angry about the translation of the interview he gave to the NOS. “I didn’t mean I’m not interested.
