Internazionale has managed to prevent its second loss in Serie A with pain and effort. Simone Inzaghi’s team had their hands full on a visit to Fiorentina, but in the end they won. Within three minutes of the second half, the Milanese turned a 1-0 deficit into a 1-2 lead. Perisic provided the final chord in the final phase. Atalanta did good business visiting Sassuolo and won 2-1. Teun Koopmeiners kicked off for the first time this season and, together with Marten de Roon, played a controlling role in midfield.

Fiorentina – Inter Milan 1-3
Inzaghi made a number of changes to his team compared to last weekend’s win against Bologna, which meant, among other things, that Denzel Dumfries lost his starting spot. Inter then pushed in an attempt to quickly expand the score, but failed to do so via Ivan Perisic, among others. Inzaghi then brought in Dumfries and was helped in the saddle by González. The latter picked up two yellow cards within a minute due to comments on the lead and thus broke Fiorentina’s resistance. Perisic took care of the final blow in the final phase with a tapper: 1-3.

Atalanta – Sassuolo 2-1
With Koopmeiners and De Roon in the starting lineup, Robin Gosens helped Atalanta take the lead early in the game.
