Interest in Feyenoord’s Robert Bozeník seems to be getting underway. BILD writes on Wednesday evening that Fortuna Düsseldorf, among others, is interested in the 21-year-old attacker from Slovakia. The club is playing in the 2. Bundesliga for the second season in a row, after having played at the highest level in Germany in 2018/19 and 2019/20.

“We won’t go into every name,” says technical director Uwe Klein. According to BILD Fortuna Düsseldorf, which has four points in the first four match days, is not the only club from Germany with an interest in the Feyenoord striker, although no names are mentioned. Clubs from Portugal and Russia would also have shown minimal exploratory interest.

Bozeník seemed to switch from MSK Zilina to Hamburger SV in January last year, but it was Feyenoord that won the battle for his signature and paid four million euros. He played 58 games for MSK Zilina in all competitions and scored 19 goals. In South Rotterdam, the attacker did not shine: after 28 official games, the counter stands at 4 hits and 2 assists.

Feyenoord would like to lend Bozeník and in this way make financial room for the arrival of a (versatile) attacker. The Slovakian’s contract with the Rotterdam team continues for three more seasons.
