Dennis te Kloese seems to be the new general manager of Feyenoord. The Telegraph wrote this week about an oral agreement between the two parties. Te Kloese late opposite the NOS know that he is positive about employment in Rotterdam, but at the same time points to his ongoing contract with LA Galaxy.

Koevermans recently announced that he will resign from his duties as general manager at Feyenoord on 1 December. Te Kloese soon came into the picture of the policymakers of the people of Rotterdam. He would already agree with Feyenoord, where he should start on January 1, according to the newspaper. That is not yet the case, emphasizes the expected new director. “I’m certainly open to it, but I have another year of contract here and can’t just walk away,” said Te Kloese about his commitment in Los Angeles.

In the past, Te Kloese was already in the picture to get started as director of Feyenoord. Where it didn’t come to employment then, he is now ready to step in. “I hope to have more clarity in the coming days and whether it is a formal possibility. I need some time to sort everything out,” said Te Kloese.

Te Kloese would have been a top candidate from the first moment and, according to The Telegraph ‘a large network in countries where Ajax and PSV have been scouting players for years’. For example, he served as director of the Mexican Football Federation between 2014 and 2018. Te Kloese also worked as a scout for Ajax in the past, until he started working as head scout for Chivas Guadalajara in 2003.
