Stanis Idumbo Muzambo has already said goodbye to the Ajax fans with a post on Instagram. The eighteen-year-old Belgian, who still had a contract in Amsterdam until next summer, is transferring to Seville. Ajax wanted according to Football International would like to extend his contract, but the talent himself did not want to stay in the capital for a longer period of time.

“Dear Ajax supporters and trainers, I would like to thank you very much for everything you have done for me during my time at Ajax,” Idumbo Muzambo begins his post. “Your support and advice were invaluable.”

Although Idumbo Muzambo has not yet named his new club, it is clear that it is Sevilla. Fabrizio Romano already reported the upcoming agreement last week. Monday knew The Telegraph then based on some sources around the Spanish club that Ajax and los Nervionenses have reached an agreement on the main points.

The talent still had to reach a personal agreement with Sevilla, but that now seems to have been successful. According to The Telegraph Ajax receives the usual training allowance of approximately three hundred thousand euros for Idumbo Muzambo. This amount can increase by several hundred thousand due to various bonuses. In addition, a percentage of the transfer fee has been stipulated when the talent is resold.

The midfielder came over on a free transfer from the youth of KAA Gent in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has played for various youth teams of the Amsterdam team, before making his debut in professional football on behalf of Jong Ajax in early 2023.

In the current season he played eleven times in the Kitchen Champion Division. In those matches, Idumbo Muzambo managed to find the net three times. After 2.5 years in Amsterdam, without having played a match in the main squad, he is now leaving.
