Davy Klaassen was of great value to Ajax on Thursday with the opening goal in the 3-0 first match against Young Boys in the eighth final of the Europa League. The goal came about after a combination with Dusan Tadic and the midfielder of Ajax agrees in conversation with RTL that he has a ‘good click’ with the Serbian attacker.

“Well, I have a good connection with him. We have a good feeling of each other where we are. With the 1-0 it was again a nice combination ”, Klaassen says about the connection with Tadic. It took until the 62nd minute for Ajax to open the score. “It went well, but the last pass was always wrong. If the last pass had been good, we would have been ahead by a few goals at half time. With 3-0 you can certainly not complain. ”
“I think we wanted to give the last pass too quickly now and then. Maybe an extra ball would have given room for the last pass ”, the midfielder continues. “We want to play dominant and good on the ball in every game. If you had said before the game that it would be 3-0, we would have signed for it. We owe it to ourselves that they were not involved, and that is not only due to them. ”
