Hope Solo puts herself in rehab. The former United States women’s team goalkeeper was due to be inducted into the prestigious National Soccer Hall of Fame in Texas next month, but has asked for a postponement so she can fully focus on fighting her alcohol addiction.

Solo will be fighting alcoholism in the near future. The 2008 and 2012 Olympic champion, who is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers ever, has voluntarily entered rehab after being previously arrested for drink-driving. “I will voluntarily undergo treatment to address my problems with alcohol,” said Solo. The 202-time United States international was arrested on March 31 for drink-driving, child abuse and resisting arrest after she was found unconscious behind the wheel with her children in the back of the car.

“Right now, all my energy is focused on my health and taking care of myself and my family,” the American continued on Twitter. Solo was due to be inducted into the Soccer Hall of Fame next month, but the organization has asked for a postponement. “I have contacted the Hall of Fame and have kindly requested a postponement.” The organization complied with her request and has indicated that the former goalkeeper will be honored next year. “I want to thank the Hall of Fame for their support and understanding of my decision,” Solo said.

In her career with her country, Solo won the World Cup in Canada, which was held in 2015, and received a gold medal twice by becoming Olympic champion in both 2008 in Beijing and in 2012 in London. In 2009 she was named American Football Player of the Year. She also won the Golden Glove, the prize for the best goalkeeper of the tournament, at the 2011 and 2015 World Cup.
