Ralf Seuntjens was injured on Monday evening in the game of De Graafschap against Jong AZ (7-3) and there was a fear of a serious ankle injury to the tall captain. Almost a week later, however, the attacker comes with good news. Seuntjens, who still has to miss the game with NEC on Sunday afternoon, is completely pain-free again. A panacea provided by Feyenoord attacker Bryan Linssen has helped the striker enormously.

“The moisture quickly disappeared because of the Bryan Linssen technique of mustard”, Seuntjens explains to FOX Sports. “Edwin (Linssen, assistant coach of De Graafschap, ed.) Had advised me and I tried it for two nights. The moisture was gone immediately.” Reporter Pascal Kamperman thinks it is a joke by Seuntjens: “You lie.” The 31-year-old attacker insists, however, that he is serious about the treatment: “It’s really true, I swear.”

“It’s old, French mustard”, says Seuntjens, who emphasizes once again that his story is not made up. “I swear, really! Ask the trainer later (Mike Snoei, ed.), It’s incredible. I didn’t believe it at first. Edwin is Bryan’s brother and he works here, that’s how it came about. ” The attacker is also amazed by the rapid recovery period. “If there is still fluid in the ankle, everything hurts when walking. But that is now almost gone, say.”

Linssen had a conversation with in February the Gelderlander know he used mustard for a nasty foot injury. He got the tip from Christiaan Büttner, Alexander Büttner’s father, when he had previously suffered an ankle injury. “I’m definitely going to put mustard on my feet now. Because that helps. I’ll do everything I can to get back soon. I don’t want to miss a game.”
