Jordan Henderson and Alisson Becker briefly clashed on Tuesday evening during Chelsea – Liverpool (0-0). In the eyes of the captain, his Brazilian teammate caused unrest by doubting a deep ball from the home team. The damage was limited because João Félix shot the ball over, but that did not stop Henderson from replying to Becker.
The moment came in the second half, when a deep pass from Chelsea went into Liverpool’s box. Alisson visibly doubted, after which Joël Matip decided to head the ball away. The organization at Liverpool was completely turned upside down as a result. However, it was thanks to Félix that it did not cost Liverpool a goal. The Portuguese shot wildly over on a pass from Kai Havertz. Henderson then fiercely lashed out at Alisson.

The captain pointed out to the goalkeeper that he was not communicating properly, after which Alisson bit off. The get-together resulted in a big altercation, as the goalie didn’t seem to accept Henderson’s swipe. In the end, Matip had to intervene to calm the emotions.
