Valentijn Driessen is not at all pleased with Borna Sosa's efforts. The journalist leaves in the podcast Kick Off by The Telegraph know that he was annoyed by the attitude of Ajax's left back in the lost match against AZ (2-0). Driessen even speaks of the Croatian international's 'refusal to work'.

“That Sosa… He played, no, he walked around right in front of the press stand where we were sitting,” Driessen begins. “How on earth is it possible that this man was once a starter in Germany?”

“He walks. He watches the game. He looks at the stands and he looks at what the weather is like. I think that boy is completely done with it. It seems he doesn't want to play anymore. This is simply refusal to work from the first to the last minute.”

“Look, that Gaaei is still trying his best, but he just can't do anything,” Driessen continues. “That is also a sad story. And then Sutalo. How he managed to become a Croatian international is a mystery to me.”

“He just fooled everyone and handed all the balls over to Modric. This resulted in a very nice transfer and he now earns a fortune at Ajax. It is cringeworthy what these guys are doing,” the journalist concludes.

Mike Verweij agrees with his colleague and indicates that he was disturbed by the behavior of the Ajax fans, who attacked Anton Gaaei in the comments under his Instagram photos. Gaaei decided to immediately delete all posts from his account.

“Ajax had a very nice campaign against hate on social media a few weeks ago, but that great campaign was of no use. Ajax fans first took out their frustration and anger on Kenneth Taylor, and now on social media on Gaaei. So I understand that he would delete those photos,” said Verweij.
