Andy van der Meijde believes that Osame Sahraoui could join Ajax well, he said at Veronica Offside. The winger from SC Heerenveen was accurate against the Amsterdam team last Sunday in the 3-2 victory of the Frisians.
“Sahraoui could join Ajax, I think,” the former wing attacker begins his argument. “I think he is a really good winger.”
Van der Meijde explains himself further: “He has an action streak, can score a goal, has an overview and a good temperament, I think.”
Wim Kieft, also a guest in the program, does not make any statements about the Norwegian attacker, but does say that he is not at all impressed by Carlos Forbs. “This boy who is playing there now really doesn't make me happy,” Kieft refers to the Portuguese winger.
It was close to Sahraoui having already made a switch last winter. LOSC Lille applied to Heerenveen with seven million euros, but the club firmly rejected the offer.
According to Transfer market Sahraoui represents a value of 6.5 million euros. His contract runs until mid-2026.
This season, the 22-year-old left winger has already played twenty Eredivisie matches for the club from Friesland. He managed to score six goals. He also reported a hit three times.
