Dennis te Kloese is very satisfied with Feyenoord’s transfer policy in the past transfer period. The director of the Rotterdammers joins in Good morning Eredivisie lyrical about both the scouting apparatus and about trainer Arne Slot, who is also involved in the transfers. Te Kloese expresses his satisfaction with the departure of Róbert Bozeník and Christian Conteh.

“Our scouting has shown in recent years that they are very good and very talented in recruiting boys,” says the director of the football talk program. “The communication is good and so is the trust. Then you can make a mistake every now and then. It would be strange not to involve the trainer, because the man is very capable. With Robert Bozeník and Christian Conteh, for example. It was a good thing that we sold it.”

Both Bozeník and Conteh signed with Feyenoord in 2020, but the time in De Kuip was not a success for both players. Bozeník scored 4 goals in 28 games, was loaned out twice and eventually left permanently for the Portuguese Boavista this summer. Conteh was also rented out several times by Feyenoord, before he permanently left Rotterdam for VfL Osnabrück last transfer period. Conteh only played two official matches on behalf of Feyenoord.

Tottenham Hotspur
Te Kloese also discusses the interest that Tottenham Hotspur had in both Slot and himself. “Slot was the closest to a transfer to Tottenham. And there was also other interest, which is why we are very happy that he is still there. To be honest, I hope that we end up in the same position next year, because that would mean that we are just having a very good year.”
