Wilfred Genee claims that Ajax’s selection is in shockingly poor condition conditionally. The presenter of Veronica Offside claims to have heard this from internal sources at the club, but table guest Dick Advocaat immediately seriously doubts this.

“I received messages that data has appeared showing that Ajax is in such a bad condition that everyone within that club is completely shocked,” Genee reports in the talk show. “Shouldn’t we take this seriously?”

Dick Advocaat doesn’t believe it. “I’m getting a bit tired of that. No, you have been given eyes as people to see who is fit and who is not,” says Advocaat, who is told that data does not lie. “Data can provide support, but nothing else?”

Genee continues: “If you compare those data with the period of Erik ten Hag, that of Alfred Schreuder and the trainers after that, that must be a huge difference,” said the presenter.

“The last twenty minutes of a match the players seem to be completely exhausted, then it is empty.” Logically, the lawyer wants to know from whom Genee got that information. “I’m not allowed to tell you that, haha. It is remarkable that a club like Ajax is lacking in fitness.”

According to Genee, the conditional problem started much earlier at Ajax. “That already played a bit under Schreuder, I understood.”
