Using an algorithm, the research bureau has drawn up a list of players who are currently worth the most money, with De Jong rising far above his compatriots. The list is headed by Phil Foden. The Manchester City attacker has a market value of 190.2 million euros, according to the above agency.
Foden is followed in the top five by Mason Greenwood (178 million), Marcus Rashford (159.1 million), Erling Braut Haaland (155.5 million) and Bruno Fernandes (154.3 million). With his 138.7 million euros, De Jong falls just outside the top five, but keeps Pedri and João Félix in the top ten, among others. Moreover, the midfielder of the Dutch is by far worth the most of all Dutch people at the moment. Matthijs de Ligt and Donny van de Beek are the only players who can also be found on the list, with De Ligt’s value at 89 million euros and Van de Beek worth 55.1 million.

Mbappe is the only player on the published list whose contract only lasts one year. Paris Saint-Germain is still in negotiations with the attacker.
According to the Swiss research center, De Ligt was the Dutchman with the highest market value last year.
