Frenkie de Jong scored a beautiful goal for Barcelona on Thursday evening. In the Europa League game against Napoli, the midfielder was given room to steam after being reached by a heel ball from Ferran Torres. With a placed shot from outside the penalty area, he found the top right corner beautifully.
De Jong made it 0-2 with his goal in the thirteenth minute; Jordi Alba had opened the scoring shortly before that. Lorenzo Insigne then made the 1-2 from a penalty. That penalty was awarded after a foul by Marc-André ter Stegen on Victor Osimhen. Last week it was 1-1, so Barcelona is still well on its way to reach the eighth final.
