Feyenoord is interested in Kang-in Lee, writes marca Tuesday evening. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder of Real Mallorca has a contract until mid-2025, but is coveted by several clubs. Besides Feyenoord, SC Braga is also interested in the international of South Korea.

Lee came over from Valencia on a free transfer in August 2021. He had played 44 games in LaLiga for Valencia but had no future with the club. Real Mallorca signed Lee for four seasons. He made 25 appearances in LaLiga this season, including 10 as a substitute. Lee played as an attacking midfielder, left winger and right winger. He is not undisputed in the team, but he did make a good impression on several foreign clubs.

marca writes that Frank Arnesen, the technical director of Feyenoord, is very fond of Lee. At the end of the season, Lee will discuss his future with Real Mallorca. “If the club continues to play at the highest level, it will remain on the island unless an irresistible offer comes in,” the newspaper said. Lee has his sights set on participating in the 2022 World Cup.

He has played six times for the South Korea national team so far and sees Real Mallorca as a good basis to stay in the picture with the national team. However, it is still very much the question whether Real Mallorca will maintain itself at the highest level. Thanks to Saturday’s 1-0 win over Atlético Madrid, the club is in virtually safe seventeenth place with 29 points. The lead on number eighteen Cádiz, who is on the brink of relegation, is only one point.
