Latest update:

Jorrel Hato will be absent from the friendly match between Ajax and Olympiacos Piraeus on Friday afternoon, due to a minor injury. The centre-back has some muscle pain, but should be available for the two-legged match against FK Vojvodina.

That is what coach Francesco Farioli says before the friendly match against the Greeks. The Italian speaks of a 'light' injury and does not fear playing in the Europa League preliminary rounds.

Farioli further indicates that Hato is absent on Friday mainly 'as a precaution'. “He has slight muscle problems. That is normal during the preparation.”

Ajax and Olympiacos kick off on Friday at 15:00. For the Amsterdammers, it is the last test in the run-up to the Europa League preliminary rounds. On 25 July and 1 August, Ajax will face the Serbian Vojvodina.

The players who played against Al-Wasl (2-1 win) from the United Arab Emirates on Thursday will not be part of the selection on Friday.

Ajax line-up: feather key; Rensch, Sutalo, Janse, Wijndal; Henderson, Taylor, Fitz-Jim; Banel, Akpom, Forbs.

Olympiacos line-up: Paschalakis; Costinha, Abbey, Koutsidis, Apostolopoulos; Chiquinho, Bakoulas, Stamenic; Masouras, Biel, Kostoulas.
