Erling Braut Haaland is asking for an annual salary of at least 35.5 million euros in case of a possible transfer next summer, sources report to the British department of ESPN. According to the international sports channel, four clubs remain in the race for the 21-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker with Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Haaland can reportedly leave Dortmund under contract for 75 million euros next summer, although, according to German media, that amount could rise to 90 million euros through bonuses. There is a huge chance that the Norwegian will leave next summer at BVB, because there are enough top clubs that want to put that amount on the table. According to information from ESPN recently, the camp-Haaland made its demands known to interested clubs.

Previously made BILD known that Haaland is currently earning 7.5 million euros per year from Dortmund. The German newspaper reported in early October that those Borus want to go out of their way and prepare a new contract worth fifteen million euros a year in an ultimate bid to keep Haaland. That seems like a hopeless attempt, given the center striker according to ESPN more than double that.

That should not be an insurmountable problem for Manchester United. The English superpower already wanted to take over Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020, but was then trumped by Dortmund. United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer worked with Haaland at Molde FK and still maintains good contact with the attacker.

Real Madrid, as is known, wants to get Kylian Mbappe, but is also certainly thinking of Haaland. Furthermore, Chelsea and Manchester City are seriously in the market for the goal getter, who stands at 70 goals in 69 official matches for Dortmund. ESPN reports that Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are currently ‘behind’ in the battle for Haaland’s signature.
