Louis van Gaal will be officially presented as the new national coach of the Dutch national team on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. Frank de Boer’s successor will be speaking to the press from Zeist from 3 p.m. He appears together with director of top football Nico-Jan Hoogma. In addition to Van Gaal, assistants Danny Blind, Henk Fraser and Frans Hoek are also introduced. The press conference can be followed live via the livestream below.

Earlier this month, Van Gaal announced a 25-man pre-selection for the next three World Cup qualifiers. At the beginning of September, the the Dutch squad will play World Cup qualifiers against Norway (September 1), Montenegro (September 4) and Turkey (September 7). The the Dutch squad is currently second in the group behind Turkey. Only the group heads qualify directly for the World Cup in Qatar. The numbers two get a second chance via the play-offs.
