Feyenoord travels to Lagos with a selection of 26 players. The team from Rotterdam is preparing for the Conference League final against AS Roma on Wednesday 25 May with a training camp in Portugal. Justin Bijlow is also part of the selection of trainer Arne Slot.

Tyrell Malacia, Gernot Trauner and Reiss Nelson were still missing from Slot’s selection on Sunday during the last Eredivisie game of the season against FC Twente (1-2 loss). However, the trio will simply fly with the selection to Lagos, according to the Feyenoord club website. Feyenoord still hopes to have Justin Bijlow in Tirana.

The closing entry has seven days to get ready for the Conference League final. At the beginning of March, the goalkeeper suffered a foot injury in the eighth final of the Conference league against Partizan Belgrade in the home game. Feyenoord reported a week later that Bijlow had to go under the knife and the season was over for the 24-year-old closing post. It now appears that there is still a glimmer of hope for the Rotterdammers to have their first goalkeeper in Tirana. Bijlow trained according to the twitter channel Feyenoord Youth Watcher Tuesday morning outside again, and was also able to make full use of his recovering foot.
