Frank Arnesen has once again done relatively cheap business with Fredrik Aursnes on behalf of Feyenoord, reveals Feyenoord Transfermarkt. The 25-year-old Norwegian, who will make his debut against Willem II on Sunday, has cost the club only 450,000 euros.

Aursnes was only tied up at Molde FK for six months until the end of the calendar year, so the low transfer fee is not a big surprise. The controlling midfielder, who signed for three years in De Kuip, played for Molde for six years and came to 193 official duels for the Norwegian top club. Aursnes scored 20 goals and prepared another 32. In June he made his debut for the Norwegian national team.

Feyenoord initially raised four million euros with the sale of Steven Berghuis to Ajax and was therefore able to enter the transfer market itself. The transfer fee of Berghuis can also rise to 6.5 million euros. In July Feyenoord brought in Jahanbakhsh for a bargain price. The 28-year-old Iranian costs according to the General Newspaper in principle, slightly more than one million euros, although the transfer fee could increase through bonuses.
