Raymond van Meenen is leaving Feyenoord after more than nine years. Van Meenen moved to Rotterdam in 2015 to work as manager of the youth academy. In 2021, he was also appointed Head of Operations and he had as Head of Women's Football a share in the development of women's football within Feyenoord. Van Meenen will now start working at the KNVB as manager of referee affairs for professional football.

No away fans at matches between NAC and Willem II next season

No away fans will be welcome at matches between Willem II and NAC Breda next season. The Tilburgers announced this via the official channels. The reason is misconduct by supporters of both teams during the meetings last season. Even then, only half of the permitted number of away fans were welcome.

The mayors of Breda and Tilburg regret the situation, they say. “It is a step backwards. We would have liked to have seen this season, the first season that both football clubs play in the Eredivisie again, allow away fans. After all, the twelfth man is an essential part of our football culture.”

“Unfortunately, a number of supporters have made this impossible. We invite the supporters of both clubs again to start the conversation via the security organization. With the aim of coming to a joint plan whereby we can allow away supporters to attend the matches again in the future.”
