Latest update:

Feyenoord has acquired striker Devin Haen (20) from De Graafschap, the Stadium club known through official channels. The Rotterdammers reportedly transfer around 150,000 euros to the Super farmersHaen, who was once regarded as a great talent, will play on loan for alliance club FC Dordrecht next season.

Haen has signed a contract with De Kuip until mid-2026, with an option for another year. The young attacking leader from Winterswijk was considered a great talent from De Graafschap's own ranks for many years.

As a player for De Graafschap, Haen was a youth international for Oranje, a fact that does not occur often. The right-footed player represented the Netherlands from Under 18 to 20. After his breakthrough in the first team of De Graafschap, Haen's development stagnated, partly due to injuries.

In total, Haen played in 83 official matches for De Graafschap, in which the striker scored 14 goals and provided 3 assists. Transfer market estimates his current market value at 400,000 euros, but according to previous reports Feyenoord is making The Gelderlander only one and a half tons over to Doetinchem.

Haen will have to postpone his dreams of De Kuip for a while, because Feyenoord will immediately rent him out to alliance club Dordrecht. The young striker can show himself directly against his employer during a practice match on Saturday. Dordrecht and Feyenoord will then practice against each other at 14:30.

“For me this is a unique opportunity to take the next step in my career,” Haen responded via the club website of Feyenoord. “I am very proud that I was able to sign a contract with this big club and I have confidence in the plans that the club has for me. For now it is important that I can gain a lot of flying hours on loan at FC Dordrecht next season. I am really looking forward to that.”

Also Mark Ruijl, Head of Global Football at Feyenoord, is given the floor. “Devin is a player we have been following for quite some time. Despite his young age, he has already played more than seventy matches in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. We are therefore delighted that he has signed with Feyenoord and that he can develop further through a loan period at FC Dordrecht.”
