Feyenoord knows the opponent in the second preliminary round of the Europa Conference League. The team of trainer Arne Slot will compete against FC Drita. The club from Kosovo won 0-1 on Thursday afternoon to visit FK Decic from Montenegro and had already won 2-1 at home last week. Defender Ardian Cuculi scored the only goal of the game in the final phase.

Drita finished second in Kosovo last season, two points behind champion Prishtina. The club became champion of the Superliga in Kosovo in 2003, 2018 and 2020. Last season, Drita reached the third qualifying round of the Europa League, in which Legia Warsaw was 2-0 too strong.

Feyenoord will play first in Kosovo next Thursday. The return awaits in De Kuip on Thursday 29 July. If Feyenoord fulfills the favorite role in the second preliminary round, it will play in the third preliminary round on 5 and 12 August. The draw will be made next Monday. The last preliminary round will be completed on 19 and 26 August.

Feyenoord qualified as the winner of the play-offs in the Eredivisie for the second preliminary round of the Conference League. Number four Vitesse enters the third preliminary round. Number three AZ qualified for the play-off round of the Europa League, while PSV starts in the second preliminary round of the Champions League and Ajax enters the group stage of the billion-dollar ball.
